There are seven Doctrines of Salvation. They are

The Doctrine of Adoption

Adoption is being placed as a son with the same position and advantage as a birth son. Christians are adopted at regeneration. When we are born again, God the Father becomes our Father. Adoption was predestined before the foundation of the world and will be completed at Jesus' Appearing5.

The blessings of adoption are

  1. The family name.
  2. The family likeness.
  3. Family love.
  4. A filial spirit.
  5. A family service.
  6. Fatherly chastisement.
  7. Fatherly comfort and an inheritance.

Evidences of sonship are

  1. Being led by the Spirit.
  2. Having childlike confidence in God.
  3. Having liberty of access.
  4. Having love for the brethren.
  5. Being obedient.
